Only A Week Left In Spring Training!
With only a week left to go in spring training for Major League Baseball, our Minnesota Twins currently sit at 16-10 - good enough for 4th place in the American League (Pretty good in our new Red Official Cool Base Jerseys, eh?) Trevor Plouffe has been on an absolute tear, batting .375 with 4 HR and 14 RBI. Not only that, but one of our more recently important acquisitions, Byung Ho Park, has proven to possibly be the true power hitter we expected.
At 29 years old, Park has plenty of baseball experience. Last year, he lead the Korean Baseball Organization with 53 HR and 146 RBIs. He has been playing first base for us this Spring, which is his natural position. Does this effect Joe Mauer's playing time? Or do we see Park in right field at some point?
